About Me
Growing up, I aways had an interest in photography and like many others, used a simple film, point and shoot camera. I loved the anticipation and excitement of waiting to collect the processed photographs.
When unexpectedly, given the gift of a Nikon, digital, DSLR camera, my ‘interest’ changed to a passion for photography I could never have imagined!
I constantly strive to improve my technical understanding of the camera and how to use it in a creative way to produce images which reflect what I can see, feel, hear and even smell when looking at a particular subject.
I would describe myself as an enthusiastic, photographer and my first love is Landscape Photography, although I am just as happy being involved in the world of nature, of trees, forests, animals, birds and flowers. I am always looking for new locations to explore and discover.
I have undertaken many photography courses and had the privilege of participating in workshops with Colin Prior, the landscape photographer. His knowledge and support has made a huge difference to my learning and development as a photographer.
